Mulade Sympathises With Victims of Ugboegungun Community Attack
* Urges Aggrieved Parties To Apply Dialogue To Resolve Grievances.
A Niger-Delta Human Rights activist Comrade Sheriff.B.Mulade has condemned the attack of Ugboegungun Community Excravos river, in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State by suspected hoodlums.
Suspected hoodlums attacked the Community on Thursday as a result of alleged misunderstanding between rival factions in the community, leading to the hospitalization of the Community Youth Chairman, Mr. Destiny Ododo while many others sustained severe degree of injuries.
In his reaction,the House of Assembly hopeful 2019, Comrade Mulade said, “for peace and sustainable development to strive in our communities, we should apply dialogue and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) approach to settle dispute without resulting to violence and destruction of lives and property. I therefore, urge the waring factions in Ugboegungun Community to sheathe their swords and apply dialogue as the best approach to resolve dispute whenever the need arise.”
While sympathising with those who sustained severe injures , Comrade Mulade who is also Environmental Activist, equally called on the Delta State government and the security agencies to immediately intervene on the matter in order to restore peace and sanity in the troubled Ugboegungun community.
