The member representing Ethiope East Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. (Chief) Evance Ochuko Ivwurie has assured the State Governor, Senenator (Dr) Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa of the people of Ethiope East total support to the state smart agenda programme and also his re-election bid comes 2019.
Hon. Ivwurie, who is also the House Committee Chairman on Works, while speaking in his country home in Abraka, said Ethiope East had no challenge and the people are ‘fully ready to demonstrate their love and appreciation to the State Governor for the various developmental projects across the local government area.’
The lawmaker said the people were ready to give the Governor a landslide victory throughout the local government area, saying it loud and clear that only the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) exist in the council area.
Hon. Ivwurie said his main concern is to bring Delta State Government presence to Ethiope East if given the mandate come 2019, adding that; “The quest to bring development to Ethiope East is my utmost priority”.
Also speaking, Chairman of Ethiope East Local Government, Hon. Baroness (Chief) Faith Majemite said PDP and the entire Local Government people remained solidly and will queue behind Governor Okowa and Honourable Evance Ivwurie comes 2019.
Hon. Majemite said Ethiope East never had it very robust like this before in the local government area, both in terms of roads construction, schools renovation and appointment of sons and daughters of the local government into various governmental positions.
The Council Chairman emphasized that the people were ready to show their support and appreciation through massive votes for the PDP in the forth coming 2019 general elections, assuring the Governor that Ethiope East people were fully with him and would continue to give their support to his administration that has turned things around for them in all ramifications.
