Chieftain and Legal Adviser to the All Progressives Congress, Barrister Numa Tetsola has decried the way and manner the National Chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomole is running the party, warning that the party may lose hold of some states after 2019 election.
Tetsola who spoke to news men in koko, headquarters of Warri North LGA, Delta State, said the attitude of the national chairman towards party leaders and members will lead to a grate catastrophe for party come 2019.
Tetsola warned that Olorogun O’tega Emerhor who has nurtured the Delta APC to where it is today, should not be made to play a second fiddle when it comes to APC affairs in the state.
He advised the former Comrade Governor to emulate the leadership style of his predecessor, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, who according to him, ran an all inclusive government and respect for the rule of law, adding that the leadership of a party is different that of a trade union.
The legal luminary called on the APC National Chairman to respect constituded court authority, noting that disregarding the Delta state chairman of the party, chief Cryril Ogodo who was durely elected in a generally accepted congress and inaugurating a factional chairman, prophet Jones who does have a general support of the party, is like putting square peg in a round hole.
He appealed to the National Chairman of the APC to do the needful and respect laid down procedures so as to move the party forward.
