THE Prophet Jones Erue led executive of the Delta State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC has said the party would record landslide electoral victory in the forthcoming 2019 general election to end PDP’s rule in the State.
Erue in a statement by the Head, Strategy & Communications of the APC in the State, Mr Nick Ovuakporie expressed anger over what he described as poor state of governance being experienced by Deltans in the last 20 years.
He said “should a state as blessed as Delta State be looking like the Nile State of South Sudan ravaged by protracted civil rife? Is it not also sorrowful that Delta State has become a safe heaven for criminals where kidnapping has become a daily occurrence?”
While frowning at Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s sponsorship of the Nigeria super eagles friendly match against Uganda with State resources, he urged Deltans to reject Governor Okowa and his underdevelopment smart PDP agenda designed to deceive Deltans and impoverish them.
To this end, Erue told the people of the State to vote for the APC from the State House of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate, Governorship to the Presidential elections, adding that “it is the only way we can build a new Delta of our dream”.
