CEPEJ PLAYS HOST TO GOVERNOR OKOWA’S AIDE, AKO 

 

The Executive Assistant (E.A) to the Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa on Peace Building and Community Relations, Hon. Ako Samuel on Friday paid a courtesy visit to CEPEJ Warri Office and expressed gladness, joy and happiness over the Organisation strive towards sustainable Peace building, Security, Environmental Justice and Development across the Nation, particularly Delta State.

He lauded the Peace Building and Economic Development Programmes for youth by CEPEJ in coastal communities and other human capital programmes planned  for 2020.

He said; “I am impressed and proud of your Warri Office Complex”, he said, as he was taken on tour, and promised to synergies and collaborate with the Office on youth empowerment programmes of the State and see ways CEPEJ can key into the State programmes of same nature and magnitude.

Highlight of his visit was the presentation of CEPEJ 2020 News Letters, magazines, calendars and programmes for the year.

According to him, CEPEJ is an International NGO which other NGO’s, Governments at all levels, Ministries, Agencies and Boards can collaborate , partner and work with due to its strong structural base over the years.

He said he was impressed with the activities of CEPEJ and promised to make a well planned visit in the coming days.

The Executive Assistant (E.A) to the Governor was welcomed by all staff of the Office and was briefed by Mr. Idah Samuel – Senior Program Manager.

 

Those present at the briefing were, Mrs. Tina Agidi – Cooperate Manager, Admin/ Finance, Mr. Dimeji Odekunle, Logistic officer, Mr. Daniel Tonfawei – Communication/Networking Officer, Mrs. Gow – Secretary and Mr. Olatoke Olasupo- ICT Administrator.
