A bill for a law to establish the Delta State Internal Revenue Service and its board has passed first reading on the floor of the State House of Assembly.
The first reading was sequel to a motion to that effect by the Majority Leader, of the House, Hon Tim Owhefere, seconded by Hon Peter Uviejitobor and adopted.
The Speaker, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori who presided over Tuesday’s plenary, announced Wednesday, May 6, 2020 for second reading of the bill.
