Delta State President of Private Sector Participants (PSP) in Waste Management, Comrade Lucky Adjekuko has provided hand sanitizers to members of the PSP in Asaba, the state capital.
Making the donation to members of PSP in Asaba, Comrade Adjekuko said that it was his own little way of supporting the efforts of the State Government in curtailing the spread of the virus.
According to him, the State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa has done well in the fight against COVID 19 and enjoined his members to observe and adhere to instructions given by the state government towards curtailing the spread of the Coronavirus ravaging the world.
Comrade Adjekuko, himself the Chairman of the Uvwie Chapter of PSP said that; “The Coronavirus pandemic that is ravaging the world is real and this is why I have decided to make the donation of the hand sanitizers to our members in Asaba today to help them in their work”.
He said; “As part of my contribution and leadership by example, I purchased these hand sanitizers that I am giving free to all our members. I will be going round to donate them to our members who are doing wonderful job throughout the state. This is a measure to protect ourselves and our staff as we carry out our duties, especially these trying times we are passing through in the world. I want to implore all our members to make good use of these hand sanitizers because we must wash our hands regularly and apply the hand sanitizers for our own good”.
“Our dynamic Governor, His Excellency Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa is working very hard and I want to sincerely commend his efforts in addressing the issue of this deadly virus. We members of PSP in the State are satisfied with measures taken so far by the state government towards curtailing the killer disease. I want to once again assure all our clients that we are up to the task of cleaning up their environment as we are fully kitted more than ever before to do what we know how best to do”, he added.
He showered praises on the Chairman of Delta State Waste Management Board, Hon Emmanuel Bazim Chinye, Members of the board and staff for their efforts in these trying times and their supports to PSP members in the state just as he lauded all the PSP operators in the state, urging them to sustain the tempo of always making the state clean.
