A renowned son of Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State, Chief (Engr.) George Timiyan has hailed the State Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa for what he described as his matured way of handling COVID -19 Cases in the state.
Chief Timiyan who is also a leader of the professional body “Izon Ibe Welders and Fitters in the State gave the Governor a pat on the back for the “matured way he has been handling the Covid19 cases in Delta State compared to his counterparts in other States”.
While saying that he is impressed with Governor Okowa the way he has professionally handled COVID -19 cases in the state so far, Chief Timiyan pleaded with all other Governors to handle the Pandemic situation just like the; “Delta State Governor is handling it or even more better, because this pandemic is affecting the livelihood of every citizens and states”.
He also commended the NCDC for a job well done and pleaded with them to bring out the procedure they are using to cure affected patients, saying that; “because almost 800 persons confirmed with Covid 19 have been discharged”
According to him; ” The situation will be better, if the NCDC can make the drugs or vaccines known to the public especially both public and private hospitals in the country. We need to know how those discharged were treated as this is going to help alot as those affected patients can be attended to quickly”.
He also showered praises on Doctors and Nurses for taking the courage to handle the dreaded Covid 19, just as he thanked other meaningful people that are deeply involved in fighting pandemic.
