Edo Former Commissioner’s Kidnapping: Police Recovers Decomposed body.

Says it has recovered the lifeless body of the Kidnapped Former Commissioner, Youths and Sports, Edo State, Hon P.E EDIAGBONYA.

The Spokesman for the State Police Command, DSP Chidi Nwabuzor who made the disclosure, Said his already Decomposed body was found in Utese Village Forest, a boundary between Edo and Ondo States by some farmers on Friday, May 29,2020 at about 6.30 pm Nigeria time

The village farmers who were uneasy and apprehensive about the horrible sight rushed to the Village to break the news.

They, thereater, moved to the DIVISIONAL POLICE HEADQUARTERS OKADA and reported the development to the Divisional Police Officer of the Station.

It was gathered that, Immediately, the DPO of the Police Division mobilized his men, contacted the medical team of Igbinedion University Okada and moved to the forest in company of the deceased family and the Community People.

At the scene, the remains of Hon P.E EDIAGBONYA was identified by his family and immediately his remains was professionally evacuated and taken to Igbinedion University Hospital Mortuary Okada for Autopsy Examination.

Recall that, the now late Hon P.E EDIAGBONYA was kidnapped from his residence at Utese Village in Ovia North East Local Government Area of Edo State on Saturday the 16th of May,2020 by unknown gunmen and suspected kidnappers.

The Police Image maker, DSP Nwabuzor, however, urged all to remain calm, while pledging to fish out the killers of the illustrious son of Utese Village.
