The Chairman, House Committee on Trade and Investment in Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Matthew Poko Opuoru, has celebrated Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on the occasion of his birthday today, Friday June 19.
Hon. Opuoru, a former Commissioner in DESOPADEC and member representing Warri South Constituency 2, in a statement described Rt. Hon. Oborevwori as an exemplary, all – embracing, humble and listening leader, “whose determination to synergize with other arms of government in the quest at delivering good governance is not in doubt.”
While praying God to continually endow the Delta State number one lawmaker with good health, great sense of leadership and long life, Hon. Opuoru assured him of his unflinching support and that of his constituents.
He enjoined Rt. Hon. Oborevwori to remain focused in the service of humanity, particularly Deltans, adding that the Speaker’s personal efforts to take many people out of poverty through various forms of empowerment initiatives, has not gone unnoticed.
