…APPEALS FOR SUPPORT
Hon. Tashami Ogheneakpoobo Jonathan has officially declared his intentions to contest for Chairmanship position in Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State.
Hon. Tashemi Jonathan made this known at the weekend when he paid a visit to the Executive Director Finance and Administration, Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Hon. (Chief) Barr. John Obukohwo Nani.
He appealed to the community leader to use his position to mobilise support for him in the forthcoming local polls in Jesse town.
Hon. Tashami, tagged his manifesto as “SHARES” which stands for Skill Acquisition Programes; Health Support program; Agricultural Reformation; Revenue Generation and Management; Educational Value Enhancement and Sustainable security.
While promising to take Ethiope West to greater heights if given the mandate to be voted for as the Chairman.
Responding, Barr. John Nani commended him and his entourage for the visit, adding that he (Hon. Tashemi) to put the people of Ethiope West at heart irrespective of the various villages or communities in the Council Area.
EDFA, DESOPADEC advised him and his supporters to shun violence because politics is not a do or die affair. It is God that gives power to whomever He chooses to lead the people. He prayed and wish him victory in his election.
Hon. Tashemi Jonathan’s supporters who spoke with newsmen stated their reasons why they want Hon. Tashemi for the position.
Meanwhile, Hon Tashemi Jonathan was Councillor between 2003-2007. And also PDP chairman in Ward 5 and Unit 9.
