Gruesome Double Murder Over Land Dispute
A shocking incident has occurred in the Amai community, Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State, where a 70-year-old man, Mr. Aghanti, and his 50-year-old daughter, Mrs. Atagoshi, were brutally beheaded over a land dispute.¹
According to reports, the suspect lured the victims into the bush under the pretext of discussing the land issue.
The woman, a secondary school teacher, had previously purchased the land, but some individuals later claimed ownership.
The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, confirmed the incident, stating that the assailant invited the victims to the bush, where he killed and beheaded them.
Vigilantes later apprehended a suspect, Emeke, with two human heads, which were identified as belonging to the father and daughter.
The main suspect is currently on the run, and efforts are ongoing to apprehend him.
