The sister of Salome Eleojo, the young woman brutally murdered by gospel singer Timileyin Ajayi, has shared harrowing details about the crime scene where the heinous act took place. Following Timileyin’s arrest for carrying Salome’s severed head in a nylon bag, her sister visited the singer’s residence and recounted her observations during the investigation.

According to her emotional recount, the residence lacked food, but a large stash of fresh tomatoes and cannabis was found in one corner. A cutlass and cleaning tools, including a bucket and mop, were also discovered, suggesting a gruesome attempt to conceal the crime. The sister described Timileyin’s appearance as that of a cannibal, adding to the horror surrounding the case.

Timileyin Ajayi, whose gospel music career has been overshadowed by this gruesome act, remains in police custody as the investigation continues. Salome’s family has called for swift justice as the nation grapples with the shocking details of the case.

 

Father of Gospel Singer Who Allegedly Killed Girlfriend Pleads for Mercy

Meanwhile, the father of Timileyin Ajayi, a gospel singer accused of beheading his girlfriend, Salome Eleojo Adaidu, has appealed to the government for leniency. Ajayi was arrested on January 12 near a church in Orozo, a border area between Nasarawa State and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

According to reports, Ajayi was caught attempting to dispose of the victim’s head after killing and dismembering her body. The incident occurred when the victim visited Ajayi at his residence.

In an interview with Channels Television, Ajayi’s father begged for mercy, requesting the government’s assistance in resolving the matter. “I want the government to help me settle this matter. I want them to help me beg for his release,” he pleaded.

However, Ajayi’s mother took a different stance, leaving the matter to the authorities. “If someone did this to one of my daughters, how would I feel?” she asked. “The government can handle it as they see fit. Everything is in their hands.”
