The 14th edition of the Peace Legend Awards International will honour 100 brands and personalities who have made significant contributions to transforming Nigeria and Africa.
The award ceremony, scheduled to take place on April 27, 2025, at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja, will recognize individuals who have excelled in various fields, including politics, business, science, arts, activism, and sports.
Among the notable personalities to be honoured are High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, (Tompolo) who will receive the Africa Legend of Peace 2025 award, and business mogul Alhaji Aliko Dangote, who will be conferred with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
According to Jesse Osero Amiri, founder of Peace Legends Awards International, the ceremony aims to celebrate Africa’s rich diversity, culture, and natural resources.
Amiri noted that Africa has produced remarkable leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators who have shaped the continent’s history and continue to inspire future generations.
The selection process for the award has been transparent and thorough, ensuring that only the most deserving individuals are recognized.
The ceremony promises to be an exciting event, bringing together Africa’s crème de la crème in a unique and captivating setting. Renowned comedian Gordon’s D Beliconi will host the event, which will commence at 6 pm.
