*2027: Jossy Honnah Congratulates Governor Sheriff, Salutes Delta APC And Assures Of Votes Rain In 2027.*
The Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State (Office of the SSG), Sir Jossy Honnah, has congratulated the Executive Governor of Delta State Rt Hon Elder Sheriff Oborevwori JP, for securing the vote of confidence and endorsement of the leadership and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress APC in Delta State ahead of the 2027 elections, asserting that it was a move that has exemplified the party’s commitment to the stability and progress of Delta State, and serves as an inspiration for more to be done by the governor.
In his reaction to the resolutions passed at the stakeholders meeting convened on Sunday 12th October, 2025 at Government House Asaba, Sir Honnah praised the State Party Chairman Engr (Elder) Omeni Sobotie for orchestrating and midwifing the endorsement process, which he said ‘has now ensured more stability in the party, as well as, set the state to continue on it hitch-free ride to meaningful development.
Speaking further, the Executive Assistant and party chieftain who hails from Idumuje-Ugboko Community of Aniocha North LGA stated that ” In terms of governance, Gov Sheriff Oborevwori is introducing a peculiar style of leadership that is sincere and effective through policies and programmes that have made Deltans across tribes and backgrounds identify with the MORE Agenda.
” I am not just speaking from hearsay, information available to the public indicates that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is careful about the expenditure of government resources, and runs one of the most responsive governments in this country.
” He has sustained programmes from the past administration, while introducing notable projects that have redefined the face of tourism and infrastructural development in the state. Governor Sheriff Oborevwori deserves the endorsement because he is a performing Governor”.
Sir Jossy Honnah speaking further, insisted that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has no opposition to his well-deserved second term, insisting that the APC in Delta State has expressed its confidence in his leadership via the resolutions passed.
” The meeting was attended by all notable leaders of the party, and the vote of confidence wasn’t coerced, this was a reflection of the sincere desire for stability and progress.
