DELIVERING RESULTS WITH INTEGRITY, ACCESSIBILITY & ACCOUNTABILITY:
The successful emergence of Rep. (Pst.) Jonathan Ajirioghene Ukodhiko as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Isoko North and South Federal Constituency at the just concluded party primary has further reinforced what many across Isoko Nation already describe as an undeniable political reality — the people have spoken, and the leaders have aligned with their voice.
In what political observers now regard as one of the most transparent, disciplined, and people-driven political consultation processes in Isoko history, Ukodhiko’s victory at the APC primary was not merely a personal triumph, but the culmination of months of extensive consultations, accountability engagements, grassroots mobilization, and overwhelming endorsements from party leaders, elders, stakeholders, women groups, youths, and APC structures across Isoko North and South.
From community to community and leader to leader, the verdict remained consistent and unmistakable: Jonathan Ukodhiko has earned the confidence of the people through visible performance, accessibility, humility, accountability, and responsive leadership.
Unlike the politics of empty promises and distant representation, Rep. Ukodhiko embarked on wide-reaching consultations across Isoko Nation, openly presenting detailed records of his stewardship, constituency projects, lobbying efforts, empowerment programmes, and legislative interventions. Stakeholders acknowledged that no leader in recent Isoko political history has consulted so extensively while also presenting such comprehensive records of accountability and performance before seeking re-election.
His emergence at the APC primary has therefore been widely celebrated across the constituency as a victory for democratic participation, party unity, and people-oriented leadership.
Following his victory, the federal lawmaker expressed profound appreciation to leaders and members of the APC, stakeholders, supporters, and the people of Isoko Nation for the confidence reposed in him.
He specially thanked the Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, for his leadership, encouragement, and unwavering support towards the unity and growth of the APC in Delta State, noting that the governor’s commitment to peace, progress, and inclusiveness continues to inspire party faithful across the state.
Ukodhiko also appreciated party leaders across Delta State and Isoko Nation for their prayers, guidance, and belief in his leadership, stressing that their collective support made his emergence possible.
“This victory is not for Jonathan Ukodhiko alone; it is a victory for all APC faithful, for our constituency, and for every person who believes in the progress and development of our people,” he stated.
During the consultations leading to the primary, Rep. Ukodhiko disclosed that beyond the statutory constituency allocation of about ₦1 billion and ₦100 million ZIP allocation, he successfully lobbied and secured over ₦4 billion in projects and interventions for Isoko North and South Federal Constituency.
Records presented during the engagements showed that over ₦1.3 billion has already been directly invested in constituency projects and empowerment programmes, while monthly welfare support ranging between ₦20 million and ₦45 million has consistently been provided through the UJA Family Foundation.
Among completed and ongoing projects highlighted were transformer upgrades across several communities, rehabilitation of the Otor-Owhe water reticulation system, erosion control works, medical outreach programmes, youth and women empowerment schemes, road projects, solar streetlights, classroom renovations, ICT/JAMB CBT centres, healthcare interventions, market projects, and several community development programmes spread across Isoko North and South Federal Constituency.
Prominent leaders consulted during the process include Emonena Victor Egukawhore, Askia Ogieh, Ferguson Onwo, Stella Omu, Emmanuel Egbabor, Joe Iroro, Emmanuel Erezih, Austin Igbine, Jahswill Asaba, Alexander Ogomudia, Anthony Odhe, Paul Oweh, Lucky Esigie, Leo Ogor, Prince Johnson Erijo, and Joseph Onojaeme, alongside numerous elders, stakeholders, and APC leaders across Isoko Nation.
The lawmaker further extended a hand of fellowship to fellow aspirants who contested alongside him during the APC primary, calling for unity, reconciliation, and collective commitment ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
According to him, the strength and victory of the APC in Isoko North and South can only be sustained through cooperation, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to the progress of the constituency and Delta State at large.
Across the constituency, supporters and stakeholders insist that Rep. (Pst.) Jonathan Ajirioghene Ukodhiko has redefined representation through transparency, consultation, accessibility, and results-driven leadership.
For many across Isoko Nation, his overwhelming victory at the APC primary and the growing endorsements that followed are more than political support — they represent a resounding declaration of confidence in a leader widely regarded as the true voice of the people and the undisputed choice of the leaders.
